After the holocoast in WWII, the biggest human rights violation ever, the Jews who survived the terrible concentration camps of Hitler were send to their “promised Land” Palestine with the support of the UK, US and many other countries. The Palestine people, as nice as they were, accepted the Jews, as long they dint make any problems. As “thank you” to the Palestines, for their nice welcome to them, the Jews started to take over pieces of Land to make their country bigger. The Palestines refused this and started to defend their selves, but Israel had many support of other countries. Most of its army is even paid by the US. Trouighout the years, after many wars and too many people’s lifes, Israel took over 78 % of the land of the Palestines. This the the reason why Palestines, and many other muslims, hate the Israel. And even after peace is declared between Isreal and Palestine, many Palestines still dont accept the fact that their country is took over, and some of them joined a group, called Hamas. The Hamas still fight for their freedom and to get their country back, even after Israel wants peace. Some people think they are terroris, but in fact they are freedom fighters and in my opinion the Israeli who fight the Palestines, zionists, are the terrorists.

Well Stan R, when you put it that way, its quite different but the thing is because I am quite young people tell me different things which is really quite annoying.
The thing is I find this fight really over nothing.
Many people have suffered and others are greaving.
Even if what you say is true that Israeli people give food to Gaza why are there still people dying because of hunger and malnutrition.
I know there are different sides to this story and you may think I havent heard any of the other sides but I have and I still stand by my opinion, even if its wrong.
But please dont misjudge me I am not from Gaza or Palestine, I just feel what I think is right.

Hi Nora,
I am writing you because you are 14. No food was thrown into sea. The supplies were send to Gaza by Israel. You have to understand every day more the 100 trucks from Israel goes to Gaza to deliver food, medicines there is a supply of electricity, gas (in UK you call it petrol). On the boat there were 60 tons of food what is equivalent of 3 truckloads.

Now, about the boat. The supplies were at the best minimal. It was more publicity stand by rights groups. And best to them, we need people to challenge authority. It really shows how Israel IDF humanly operates. Do you think they would go let’s say to Sri Lanka, Somalia (which are at war, killing thousands every year and really need the supplies) or even to Egypt, Syria just to see the resolve of their military. I don’t think so, they would be killed or in prison. They felt very safe that nothing will happen to them, to challenge the IDF.

You are young, start to investigate. With internet you don’t have to read only one side but all sides. You have presstv, aljazeera jerusalem post,haaretz,daily star and more, to give views from all sides. Then you can make your own decision.

PS: There is on youTube a video from Gaza. Young IDF soldiers are talking with Gaza youth. The Isreali soldier with gun on his back asked Gaza young man ” Would you be afraid to go Israel for walk now?” Young man answered “No”. The Israeli soldier answered but I would be afraid to go to Gaza city without my gun. You see Nora this also applies to this boat. Those 20 people there knew that they will be treated humanly and with respect by Israelis.

I feel that some people on this website are very annoying, no offence.
“There will never be peace”? What do you mean by that.
I think peoples minds are too tiny to be able to achieve peace with one another.
People think just because they have high incomes or are high-ranking in the business world they are able to boss people around and create a living nightmare for others.
I would know, I have seen my family members do that to one another. Might I say… Its not a pretty sight.
Anyway… If you all have not heard the new news about Gaza and Israel well…
Basiclly, a ship from Cyprus loaded with food and helpers heading for Gaza was stopped by Israeli people and was over ruled by Israelis. They killed and harmed the passengers that were suppose to go help the Gaza civilians and the food was either thrown into the sea or smashed and crushed.
This matter just gets worse and worse. What is wrong with peoples minds these days.
It makes me think awfully of all of the Jewish or Israeli communities around the world just because of these incidents.
At 14, I truly feel that if we continue in this matter our world will never go anywhere. It will just be filled with horrible, selfish, shameless people.

Wow… People talk about the Middle East like they know every detail about its past and present.
I am not trying to offend anyone but all those who doubt Muslims, Middle Eastern People, Arians or Arabs let me tell you that they have been wronged and have this bad reputation because of RUMORS.
I am guessing everyone here knows what rumors are, if not then let me explain. Rumors are verbal speech that goes around from place to place using humans but these pieces of verbal speech are NOT TRUE, they are all LIES.
I say probably 90% of what people say or hear about Muslims, Middle Eastern People, Asians and Arabs are usually lies that are made up and passed along.
For as long as I’ve known all Muslims, Middle Eastern People, Asians and Arabs have all been peace keepers unlike Israeli communities, yet again no offence.
As some of you might have heard on the news Israeli people claim to be peace keepers but would true people who love to have peace cause a global conflict and yet because they had the support of America they were able to get away with their lies.
Soon, all those who lie, do wrong things and create trouble just because they want to will have their day of judgement but for those who haven’t hurt a soul and have been wronged they will have thier time in the light.

I wounder how many Palestinians would died if Israel did not got it weapons from USA or EU but Chine or some other third world countries. Number Palestinians death much higher but how much higher I wounder. I known Amrican made radors allows Israel avoid some cilivtion deaths. I also know some Amrican made weapons much more better at avioding hit civilition death then Isreal made conterparts.
As for the complaining about Israel using force. Hamas no busness firing rocket into Israel to being with. That like yell blood muder when some thow rock at bear in the park then going to ranger when they got tear to shirds . Human when threats are one most dangers animals around no matter what country your from. Israel show Palestinian more mercy then most countries would have speacil in the Middle East.

This is my second try to post on this blog. I believe I had been black listed because I don’t spew the usual anti zionist (anti-jewish) lies.

Well I try again. Truth has to be told. I have a question. Why so called progressive people defend an organization which advocates and does mutilations, killings of it’s political opponents, crucification, stoning women who were raped, pedophilia (to have sex with 10 years old girl is OK), kidnappings, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-freedom? The organization who spent millions of dollars, given for betterment of it’s citizens, on arms to kill. Who keeps the population dependent on world and Israeli charity while destroying GAZA factories and farms. I can go much longer! I thought, even if Israel had not been attacked by rackets 6000 times over past 8 years, children and women were not blown by “martyrs”, soldiers were not kidnapped, would be on the streets all over world, demonstrating and demanding that Israel as an only democracy in Middle East, clean up that mess.

Even though protesting didn’t get us far with this war its alright because this major conflict is over.
Thanks to Barack Obama, even though he didn’t stop the war all he did was become the 44th President of The United States of America, it still helped.
As from Israel itself they figured out that by Obama becoming President he would have cut all the incomes they were getting so they were actually smart enough to stop the war themselves.
Which is good. but I cant help but say the people in Gaza were truly unfortunate, there houses ruined, family members lost.

I’m finding it rather funny that Israel can’t seem to fight its own fights, on its own land. It fought Hizbollah on Lebanese soil, and now Hamas in Palestine, killing thousands of innocent civillians with the pathetic, pathetic excuse that “Hamas militants were firing from civillian homes and UN-managed school”. I mean, really. NY Yankee, I urge you to open your own eyes and uncloud them from media influence (which is all controlled by Zionists, anyhoo) and see for yourself the Holocaust in Gaza. Personally I think it’s all part of a plot. Israel will slowly massacre the peoples of any Muslim country. They really should come out and admit it. It’s becoming more and more obvious to the Western world. Even here in Australia, people are condemning the Israeli overreaction. They were simply waiting for a reason to attack Palestine again in their perpetual war on Muslims.

I am reading blogs from people who came into Gaza to “help” you. I am sure they have the best on their minds. Same how they had when they went to Africa and destroyed it. They destroyed the farming because for people was easier to get it “free” then work for it. Now they are leaving those people to fend for themself,which by the independent studies willtake at least 10 years and lots of starvation. Heck, you guys are more interesting. I watch the PressTV (Iran) Aljazeera and there is lots of food. Just tell Hamas not to steal it and also tell them you want peace, stop rackets!
