Sri Lanka: Attack on Sirasa TV

Sri Lanka

Dare To Be Different terms the attack on the Sirasa TV premises at Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka as “the nastiest ever attack on the media freedom in Sri Lanka”. The blog says: “The motives were apparent. Somebody badly wants to silence Sirasa TV.” Lakbima blog, like some other Sri Lankan blogs, thinks that Sirasa TV promotes terrorism and hints that it might be an insider job.

Well done gangsters, but not well enough to close down that bastard, cultureless, imitative, (headless) SIRASA television. I’m not agreeing with Criminal activities, but SIRASA is a cultural terrorist and this attack can also be considered as a (lets say) “Humnatarian Operation”. Sometimes all this can be deliberately planned by that (headless) SIRASA terrorists, to ‘kill two birds with one stone’ as mentioned earlier. SIRASA must be Eliminated from this country before they finish this country. If we have to protect that so-called media freedom, we can let them to broadcast only that ignorant NEWS 1st(last)

Another vicious attack on a prominent media personality in this godforsaken country, Lasantha Wickramatunge, a vehement critic of corruption, political opportunism and despotism in this country, has occurred just now leaving him fighting for his life.

Going by the logic of some of the previous comments here, I suppose he shot himself!!!

Voltaire ‘I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it’

Democracy and freedom can only come when we let everyone have a voice. The alternative is what the country has had all its history, under the imperialist and now its own nationalist.By the way people like Miran, whom I assume is from the sub continent, will be the one who will be racially profiled as a would be Terrorist when entering the US. It just might be the ‘Bullshit Media’ in the US, that will save his black ass

oh! what a news to hear!
Our army soldiers are fighting these days without considering their life, family and every thing. They captured Kilinochchi in last week. The speech about this capturing of His excellency President mahinda was not well telecast. And was not given the priority. This is a news which is important to all the Sri lankans. How can it be not important to Sirasa. But this Sirasa Bloody fools telecast the bomb blast in Slave Island for about 45 minuets which occurred just after the speech. sirasa is the hidden destroyer of our society, culture. As we consider all of this present and past happenings, Dr. Mervin Silva is the correct person who acts without any fear to this devil Sirasa TV.NEWS 1 st(last) and biased to LTTE torrorists.

According to the existing Sri Lanakan constitution, anyone can express their views & opinions (it only contains in the book). But the sad thing is every & each word or phrase is not a true or meaningful, some says that Sirasa/MTV studio attack is an attack within, but anyone who has even a donut sized brain will understand that this is a filthy lie,we know for sure that for some,”THE TRUTH IS BITTER”, & when the bitter truth reveals, they attack the news source which revealed the truth. And that’s what happened to Sirasa/MTV network. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYBODY..! Sri Lanka the “greatest country on the face of the earth” as the Sri Lankan poets wrote is now becoming a LAWLESS & SHAMELESS country….!
