May I suggest that English be taught in the schools in the Philippines, as it sure is bad. Why even use English anyway, until it is learned by Filipinos?

I am praying for these people. May God help them all. Rest in peace to those who have passed. I sponsor a girl in the philippines. She is bright, energetic and courageous, besides being beautiful. I hope she and family, friends and loved ones are all right.

Hi There,

I am grateful that some one has done something like this. I am an Australian and I left CDO on the 8th of January. When I arrived home on the 11th of January, I was greeted with the news of the flood. Most of my friends of lost everything, including their houses and their lively hoods, one had a jeepney totally covered in water. I have only in the past few days had pictures of the devastation the has rocked this area. Our charity over here in Australia is called APCO (Australian Philippine Compassion Outreach) and we are in the process of putting a shipping container full of clothing and cooking items together and we will be shipping it as soon as possible. If anyone can let me know what is urgently needed, I will start compiling a list. My email is valiantbabe@live.com
In the meantime I will continue to pray for everyone.
Blessings
Jenni
