Thank you, Wassim, Yarden, Doug and Ivan. Nobody seems to notice Israel’s daily bombings. The news does not report the number of people injured or killed and the buildings destroyed by Hamas firing its weapons into Israel. Theya re not targeting the military. They are targeting women and children, sons and daughters. They massacre people as they exit synagogues. They train their children to have one goal: the destruction of Israel. What exactly would the proportionate force be for a bus load of children being bombed? How about a Passover Seder? How many years more is Israel supposed to accept being terrorized while being told there is no recourse because the poor, innocent people of Gaza don’t have the same weapons they do. Those people certainly find ways to kill and meme plenty of people without having the most up-to-date bombs available. How many times is Israel supposed to agree to cease-fires and negotiations, only to be bombed and told there will be no negotiations until all of the terrorist demands are met? How many times should Israel open its border to allow in more suicide bombers before saying enough is enough? People think that the only reason anyone supports Israel is to be politically correct and that the media is controlled by the “evil and murderous Jews”. take a look at how often you see the Israeli children whose limbs have been blown off, or the mother of a child murdered by a belt of nails mourning her loss. I see plenty of sad pictures of Palestinian families and wounded, and I see plenty of pictures of the bombed buildings (which are being used to hide the militants and the weapons being used against Israeli civilians). I have yet to see one picture of the school (a real school, not a militant hideout) in Israel that was bombed by Hamas. Thankfully, there were no children there that day, but I can assure you, that was not Hamas’ plan. It is not political correctness that makes people support Israel. It is knowledge and understanding of the full scope of the conflict that brings supporters to Israel, and it is ignorance and the faulty idea of superiority of morals which brings the nay-sayers.

People get sentimental about their children as the more innocent members of humanity.If children are taught in the mosque that ‘all Jews are monkey, and all Christians are dogs” and little girls in their hijabs earnestly desire to grow up and be suicide bombers…obviously childhood is more malevolent in that part of the world. Polygamy, forced temporary marriage, minimum age 9 for sex. This is not a society that has anything much in common with Judeo-Christian-secular society.
Treaties are useless if you go right back to 1917 http://www.ijs.org.au/The-Balfour-Declaration/default.aspx. A society that has females as non-persons but whose men are ruled by tribal allegiances and read not much but the Q’aran, will continue to have dificulty with anything short of complete submission.
Israel protects its young and trains its women with the men so that nobody need be a helpless victim. With such implacable & hate filled neighbours, Israel has had to learn to defend itself just to exist.
The media turned a blind eye as Israel patiently endured being bombed daily, so the world media should keep watching with that same blind eye when the worm turns!

I belive Hamas militants are cowards, they use people as shields hide there weapons in shools hospitals churchs. I blame them for the death of there people. I love the Palestinan people I know of many and some are friends they hate hamas. Ian a German/Russian we get a long well in America, they can if they can rise up against them( Hamas)America is on the side of the people.

I can’t believe anyone thinks people should use “proportionate force” in a war! If I only use rocks, then I am safe from your nuclear weapons! Hah, what a joke. If I have nuclear weapons, I expect you to at least respect me whether you like it or not. Your personal pride is only giving me an urge to test my nuclear weapons on your vegetable garden. Wake up people. Being nice is not just something you should do if you like someone. You have to be nice just to maximise your chances of survival. Anything else is arrogance. Your pride is only one aspect of your vanity.
