Kenyanpoet does not say this. It is much more likely that they are performing somewhere in DC that day or day before/after the actual event itself, and not in the same location, but some other venue. I myself and siblings of mine have done performances at Bush's and Clinton's inauguration, it does not mean you are doing it at the actual inauguration itself.
