Francisco Munguía, a Costa Rican cartoonist and artist has interpreted the Fine Arts classics and is currently doing a show in the Costa Rican Children's Museum. However, you don´t need to travel to Costa Rica to see his work: it is uploaded on YouTube in a gallery style presentation. On the MunguíaDJPULP channel, he has uploaded many of his animations as well as the promotional clip for the Museum presentation:

Munguía has gained a reputation as a muralist in Costa Rica: his artwork “the carnival of the letters and numbers” is currently the largest mural in Costa Rican land, and his artwork also graces walls in the most depressed areas of the city of San José. In the following videos in his other channel, MunguiaVillalta, he records the process in painting the murals where you can see the community involvement in illustrating the walls of their neighborhood with messages advocating responsible animal husbandry for pets, done with support of the Costa Rican Animal Protection Society (ANPA). He has worked with the ANPA for quite a bit, making illustrations for T-shirts, calendars and other goods the Association sells to raise money for the animal shelters they maintain. He also has stop motion and animation videos on his channel, for example, this last one about dogs, made in stop motion animation out of dog food kibble.
