Notes on the Greek riots - at LimbicNutrition Weblog: “The riots have been descibed as ‘the first credit-crunch riots.' Countries with high youth unemployment and a tradition of mass protest (e.g. France, Italy, Spain, Serbia) should be concerned about the riots spreading. From Belgrade to Bordeaux solidarity graffiti warns of ‘The Coming Insurrection'.”

Although the methods of the protestors may be deemed as questionable, the point remains that 1 in 5 Greeks are entering poverty, the health care system is poor, education is sub standard, the cost of living is higher than in the US with people unable to sustain a basic living due to low wages..
Greece, the home of democracy is being shaken to its core is the first european nation to stand up against the oppression being created by the global credit crunch..
This isnt just a fight about it’s federal government and its poor policies, but a fight against the globalised economy and heads of state who are trying to create a new world order, that is simply not working. Especially when governments authorize their banks to lend money to people that can never re pay their debts, offer to bail the criminal lenders out and then assume control of the economy which will inevitably be control by a centralized global bank, ruled by a centralized world government.
When the above eventually happens, you can be sure that this world will be standing on feet of clay.
