I am surprised to see some differences with the original in the translation by Perry Link. In particular in the very first paragraph of the preamble, where he incudes references to Tiananmen which are not in the Chinese version. Is he trying to attract attention to his own famous work on the Tiananmnen incidents? Or did I miss something?

This is a Traitor Article wrapped with all those beautiful words like Human Rights.

Proof:

"18. A Federated Republic. A democratic China should seek to act as a responsible major power contributing toward peace and development in the Asian Pacific region by approaching others in a spirit of equality and fairness. In Hong Kong and Macao, we should support the freedoms that already exist. With respect to Taiwan, we should declare our commitment to the principles of freedom and democracy and then, negotiating as equals, and ready to compromise, seek a formula for peaceful unification. We should approach disputes in the national-minority areas of China with an open mind, seeking ways to find a workable framework within which all ethnic and religious groups can flourish. We should aim ultimately at a federation of democratic communities of China."

A federation? Seriousily one just need to take a closer look to see what your ultimate purpose is.... I Myself is also from HK, and the reason why this is not a hit topic in HK its because u are not going to get support even in those camp who opposes the PRC. U are only going get radicals and people with naviety to sign this.
