I visit Thailand every year and this year my wife has been with her Thai family in Bkk since August. It is hard for someone outside the country to understand Thai Democracy but I know this much...in what other country can a protest go on this peacefully without force escalating from some power? I think this is teh most peaceful statement ever made and I am shamed that more news organizations are not at least covering how peaceful this demonstration is.
