Mduit,

You would be surprised how common this problem is on a global level. In the US, we tend to do the same thing, which is ignore a problem until it festers to the point where is causes a major problem.

We have plenty of politicians who seek division as a means of making themselves more powerful. I know a little about the tension in Mumbai and the riots that occurred almost fifteen years ago.

The point that you made about the new generation turning away from violence is important. You can make a difference and not allow anyone to exploit you or your fellow citizens for their own gain.

India has such great potential to be a leader in the world stage. I have seen such great innovation and strength of character come out of your nation in the past ten years. You cannot allow the challenge to slip through your fingers.

I hope it all turns out well. A stable Mumbai is essential to a stable region and a stable world.

yes our India is live because of God is here.
If India realy wants free from this terror, they should bring precident rule. Yes our dear and sweet Indian Militry is able to control this all thing 100% in all situation but the politician not ready to leave his chair ! All political party are watching on election only. These all terrorist reached at Mumbai with this very big stock of weapon and not a single service of India (Coast Gaurd,Marine Police,Mumbai Police)can find them or stop them. Who is responcible for this all terror and who is loosing ? India should arrange a meeting with all other nations with Uno and everybudy should decide to attack on the place which birthplace and native place of these terrorist(mainly Pakistan). I don't know how long we can live ! GOD KNOWS
Oh God pls save our India.

The terrorist attack on Mumbai is really painful, frustrating and also disgusting. This attack 'proves' everybody that we are still vulnerable to such attacks in future. Despite a series of attacks throughout the length and breadth of our country India, the Home Ministry and Intelligence Agency was unable to get the input on the disaster awaiting to happen in Mumbai.

It's very frustrating to see people like Raj Thackerey invoking hatred and fear amongst the fellow Indian citizens (read north Indians). People like him are keen to divide India. He should have focussed more on the consequences of the history of attacks faced by Mumbai till date. He should campaign against such terrorist instead of campaigning against fellow Indians. Where is he now? Will he come forward and create an organisation targeting terrorists? Or he still feel North Indians are bigger threat to Maharashtra than the terrorists who are really harming the integrity and progress of the state Maharashtra and also the nation as a whole.

Honorable Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh is working on a new '100 Day' action plan against the terrorist activities in our country. But what about the next 100 hours? We people are now becoming more and more prone to such activities and its high time that our government start acting instead of just speaking.

We the younger generation must come forward and save the country by creating unity amongst ourselves. I think its high time we start expressing our views about how we feel about the lots of tragic activities happening in our country as it is ultimately us the younger generation that would be living in the future India, in a future time when the world will witness many such incidents ranging from global warming to building our country to terrorism. It will ultimately be us who will live in such conditions and not the generation who have lived their lives in a pre dominently peaceful world.

It's really hard to swallow such dangerously violent situation. We youngsters feel very insecure these days. It's about time some serious action is taken before we all crumble to these stupid cowards who don't know the ABCD of life.
