		<description>One can not take some of the commentary as meaningful or insightful, especially when they spout silliness like:&lt;blockquote&gt;. . . It (sunshine policy) produced more fruits, such as starting Mt. Geumgang Tourism, launching separate family members’ meetings, opening a reunion place, and beginning the Kaesong Industrial Complex&lt;/blockquote&gt;As if shooting tourists in the back and basically giving North Korea money, as is done through the Kaesong project, is beneficial to anyone other than the NK leadership.  

Also, claiming that this &quot;sunshine&quot; policy &quot;brought safer security and attracted more foreign investors&quot;.  After the Lone Star debacle, foreign investment is quite leery of investing in South Korea and that debacle was started under the Roh administration, which supported the Sunshine Policy.

IMHO, Choe Sang-hun offers better insight over just what North Korea is up to:
