unfortunately, just a few moments ago I have found this heart-breaking news in a search. i am a bangladeshi student, living in europe for years.

when i was at home, we lived like all bangladeshis with a hundreds of years muslim tradition of sisterly and brotherly feelings among ourselves.

may almighty bless us to be a committed protector of all our female-relatives!

I am so proud of my country, Bangladesh. They are advancing. When I was in Bangladesh, talking anything related to friend activities was taboo and I bet it still is. Therefore, some people who gets friendly abused or harassed, don’t have the courage to tell other people

I am so proud of my country, Bangladesh. They are advancing. When I was in Bangladesh, talking anything related to sexual activities was taboo and I bet it still is. Therefore, some people who gets sexually abused or harassed, don’t have the courage to tell other people.

I suggest there should be an awareness campaign of sexual abuse and sexual harassment, so people are more open to talk about it and victims knows where to get help.
