It was interesting to see the thoughts on death of a Guyaneese woman. I am an African American male and in my middle age and near the end of that Mid 50’s exactly.
I say this because there is so much unnecessary tension between Indians and Blacks in that country and Trinidad.
So much bigotry small mindedness and ignorance on both parts. I see it in America when the Guyaneese blacks talk of coolies and the Guyaneese Indians sit in bars and down Demaruras and speak disgustedly of big black apes and niggers! I am a practicing Buddhist and a proud black man to boot. I am nonviolent by choice although I am feard by other races because they see me in stereotypes and think violence is my custom. I know this much unless brothers and others learn how to forgive they will become statistics.
