actually, the non-so-magical reality here is that when playing with napoli team, italy, he was also heavily involved in drugs and trafficking, and other not so clear affairs, that led to investigastions, arrests and trials…

similar stuff about him were and are easily forgotten, of course, but please at least let’s be real and say that he is a controversial figure – then if someone wants to call him “saint” or “magic”, well, nodoby can stop you, i guess…

Is magical realism, not reality

When I heard that he was being considered for the job, I thought it was only out of courtesy.

He is a big friend of Bolivian president Evo Morales, and we know that Morales is defending the right to play in the altitude in La Paz. Maradona, too, has personally defended the altitude.

I wonder if Maradona will continue to defend Bolivia’s claim to play at 3600 meters above sea level.
