Taras of Ukrainiana shared his view on the upcoming U.S. election in a comment posted on a Fox News blog, following Sarah Palin's recent mention of Ukraine at a rally in Nevada. Taras wrote: “You and I will be better off if you elect a president who will spare no foreign policy effort to make Russia’s invasion cost-prohibitive.”

The detention, beating and subsequent release of bloggers Yoaní Sánchez, Claudia Cadelo and Orlando Luis Pardo by Cuban state security on November 6, is receiving widespread coverage in both the mainstream media and the blogosphere and twittersphere.
