Bangladesh: Protest against religious zealots

Unheard Voices reports that the protest against the removal of sculptures of bauls from Zia International Airport are gathering momentum.

A country with very less natural resources, less percentage of educated people and frequent political turmoil can not be developed only with religious thought.Religion was made in a particular time on a particulat back ground.That time was that time only.The thinking level of people is changed.The people at present time are not those people of past time.So they can protest the removal of ‘Baul’.Every nation has its own culture. If ‘faith’ and culture clashed together, then no nation can survive in the fast competion of survival with dignity, honour and respect. If survived, that survaival will be just for living without dignity, honour and respect. And a living just like that is nothing but death.
