What makes him particularly unique is that he has been able to modernize one figure that is present in many cultures: the figure of the cantastoria who passes on the traditional narrative folktales. I`ve never been to Tokyo or Japan for that matter. I do plan to visit it in the future. When I`m there I`ll visit the spots where he performs.
