Thank you for making the first step. Not only did I hear, but I will tell others. And you must do the same. The machine that we sit in front of is a very powerful thing. It can unite us one to another. I heard of this sight by a reporter inside Georgia. An elderly woman was speaking to him, but he didn't speak the language she did. But she was obviously devastated that her home lay in ruins. As he ran down the street from the bombing he said he couldn't translate, but if you went to global voices online we could hear what the people of Georgia were saying.

I ran to my computer because language barriers have made it impossible to really talk to each other. This was the answer. I Praise God for the people who realized this dream and made it happen.

I believe nothing is a coincidence or luck, but is meant to be. Which means that we have to take the responsibility to tell others. There is strength in numbers. It is 40 days until our election. Pray that our voices are heard because unlike our government now, the majority of the American people want this war ended. It was based on lies. Many people around the world think President Bush should be tried for war crimes. I say let him stand trial. If he is innocent, why should he fear it?

Sometime I even fear that what I say will get me in trouble because our mainstream press is censored now. Had it not been this war would have not lasted this long. When I was a child, the Vietnam War was the first thing that came on the news every night. And Americans stood up
and brought it to a end. I thought the same thing would happen here, but it didn't. What else could it be other than censorship?

May God Bless You and Yours,
Dena

"Can we take a day to look at what human beings on Earth have in common rather than what divides us?
Can we make the effort?"

Dear Mr. Adil,
You and I have the same wish. It is my pleasure to speak with you. I agree with the story of the glass. It is how we choose to look at it.

We all have one thing in common, and it is the 1/2 of the glass that is empty. It is grief.

The space in my glass contains devastating sorrow that I lost my family (not to war, but to disease), and that I can't do more to keep people with a full glass but I try to lessen their loss with love and friendship. And to the few that listen to me, I try to educate them on just what our leaders are up to. So they will have a greater understanding of why this world is in utter chaos.

Others missing 1/2 is contains rage and revenge. Others, it is denial that anything is gone. But it is how we all deal with that missing half that determines our paths.

I don't know if this would surprise you, but the fact is very, very few know that those walls exist. I come here because I know I can speak to others around the world who tell the truth. If I listened to our media, I would really be stupid.

I would love to hear back from you. Thank you for your time in taking the chance to speak to the world, so that we may know. Believe me, we are listening.

Respectfully,
Dena Liles
