Thank you so much for your pretty good analysis we know as Sahrawis that our war on the net is not against Moroccan people but against the Makhzen secret forces JALAL NALI and AHMED SALEM KHADDAD and others am a Sahrawi from Aaiun in the occupied zone of western sahara i have been arrested many times at the internet cafee with my camarades because we fight via the internet for the legitimate right of our people in self-determination which Morocco abhors they treated us so savagely in an attempt to scare us but i don’t think they could ,there is always surpises for them on the net,concerning the incident above i think that the famous Moroccan saying is just my comment:WHEN IN MOROCCO NEVER WONDER.

FURTHER EVIDECENCE OF MORCCO’S ESPIONAGE IN EUROPE

Is this Spy Shariffian Regime to whom the European Community is going to grant the ‘advanced status’ ?

Then, the EU would be supporting all the atrocities commited by the Moroccan repressive authorities, including, of course, the invasion and illegal occupation of Western Sahara and all torture and crimes inflicted to the Sahrawi people.

We must CRY against this “advanced status”. Instead, the EU should grant to the present regime in Morocco the “CRIMINAL Status”.

We know for long that the Moroccan embassies in Europe are espionage and bullying centres. The headquarters, as you know, are in Brussels. The embassies control all Moroccan emigrants, and they bribe, suborn and corrupt all foreigners they can. What is new is that for the first time the Dutch government admits the practise of espionage and bullying.

After reading the article at the site of Radio Netherlands (thanks, Jose Ramirez!) I found there a comment by “our” Jalal Nali, written in the same aggressive tone and full of the same kind of spurious accusations as his postings in this site. My reaction was as follows:
I just would like to point out that Jalal Nali, the person who wrote the previous comment and affirms “I’am (sic) Moroccan berber”, is the same Jalal Nali who affirmed in the site Palestine Think Tank “I’am from Layounne southern Morocco” (17 July) and “I’am Moroccan Saharawi” (23 July) – see http://palestinethinktank.com/2008/07/16/hypocrites-in-defense-of-the-sahrawi-people/. It would be an extraordinary coincidence that two different Jalal Nalis would write exactly the same error, “I’am” instead of “I am” or “I’m”. Here he attacks Radio Netherlands for writing “simply fabulation and nonsens low cost stories”, there he accuses the editor of the site, Mary Rizzo, of being “well paid by the Algerian regime to defend a false cause” and attacks in dozens of postings everyone who defends the right to self-determination of Western Sahara. My question: is Radio Netherlands also “well paid by the Algerian regime” or is Jalal Nali’s comment another example of the panic behaviour of the Moroccan secret service?

I am shocked! I have nothing but respect for the Moroccan police force and to hear of something like this is just disgraceful! I thought the era of Saddam was over but clearly not. I wish the young officer a speedy recovery and the offender punnished with a long custodial sentence as would happen here in the UK.

crois-tu vraiment que cet homme est mentalemement malade?…mon oeil.Il n`a dit que la propre verite, aux yeux de la famille royal et leur entourage de bourgeoisie nous somme tous des insectes.Pas de droit d’exprssion, pas de travail, pas d’assurance medical…etc.. et les seul mots qui sort de la bouche de ces soit-disant insectes et bakhouches sont: vive sidna le roi. Hey! insectes il serait peut etre tant de se reveiller et mettre les mains dans les mains pour defendre nos droits en tant qu’etre HUMAN et montrer a ces chrifs que c’est grace a nous :les insectes qui sont encore dans leur palais aujourd’hui.

I agree with your correspondent. It seems most unreasonable that a police officer in the course of his duty should be shot by a member of the Royal family of Morocco. However it has since been reported that Prince Hassan, husband of the king’s aunt has been sent for psychiatric assessment.
Morocco is a Monarchy where the Monarch has absolute authority over his subjects. He is also Commander of the Faithful, which means he has religious authority over his subjects.
Let us also consider the case of Paglo Ganguli, a young artist of Indian origin, who was recently deported from Morocco without reason. He was given one days notice to pack his bags and leave, as was his lover Simon Scaddan a former British diplomat. Morocco works in a different way to the rest of the world.
