Not surprisingly this is getting hardly any attention in U.S. media and I hadn't a clue until I came here. Even blogger/columnist Marc Cooper whose usually reliably involved with Latin American matters (he worked for Salvador Allende before his assassination back in the day), is writing about "Sarah Baracuda." On the other hand, Obama's being attacked for showing insufficient hatred of Hugo Chavez. Just what we need in place of diplomacy -- habitual rage. Wow.
