The root cause of the collape is in the Ma’s policy.
Ma regards himself as Chinese and never has any feeling for Taiwanese. Actually, he treats Taiwanese as enemy who overthrew his corrupted ruling party.
His polcity was not acts of stupidity, but of carefully calcualtion. Intention is to move Taiwan’s capital and industry to China, allowing China to have full control of Taiwan. This in turn will totally destroy Taiwanese economy, along with Taiwanese independet identity.
Ma’s contining policy to weaken and destroy Taiwan’s economy leads to stock market meltdown in Taiwan. If not for US WallStreet crisis, other events will also causing the weakened market to panic and crash.
