I've been watching BBC news 24 here in London and if I relied on that I'd believe that the whole world of hurricanes revolved around New Orleans. At the bottom of the screen was mention of 70 deaths in the Caribbean but there was no other commentary on it. So I've had to rely on google to get up to date. I'm a London Trinidadian and listening to the news you'd never believe that Caribbeans make up a large percentage of the UK and maybe we'd like to know what's happening to our families abroad.
