Hi,

I thought you might be interested to know that myself (@PaulKinlan) and (@prawlings) have launched a twitter service called Twe2 (http://www.twe2.com) that gives Twitter users their DM's, @replies and custom searches via SMS for free (to nearly every country in the world). The free part is that the messages are advertising subsidised.

Regards,
Paul

Zygotweet will be launching a Twitter-SMS service in a few weeks. It will be reasonably priced and the company has many years experience in delivering international SMS services.

Nice post, and thanks for including me. However, disabling the SMS will not disable us to tweet using our mobiles, thanks to the blessings of modern technology.
I myself have never tweeted via SMS... so what the sad face guys?
