I consider Barack Omama as a political tourist. The question If Obama is black and, yes or not, with a Muslim education, stirs the imagination of most people. But the reality is that he is a legitimate presidential candidate and as such he in only a bet for the future November 2008 voter.Political tourism and whatever Obama says in those campaign days is to promote his popularity. What, if elected, he will achieve from his sayings, pointing in all directions for all voters is a priori restricted to the influences and deeds, known and unknown, of the world around him including those who vote for him.

"How is it possible that such a man, who is also black, with roots in Africa and links to Muslim heritage, carries away this same nation that has been categorized as racist, dark and lacking any future hope?

If this is true, all the definitions and categorizations on the Americans as they were frustratingly set by my friend Ihsan from Najaf (Iraq) along with other friends from Afghanistan, Congo, Argentina and the UK, will have to be reworded. If Obama is elected, people around the world will give the United States and its citizens a new opportunity. This means a real change in the relationship between the US and the rest of the world."
--------------------------------------------------------

I absolutely agree! Obama is truly changing the perception of the US around the world. The perception of Uncle Sam as an "old White man" is changing. The era of multiculturalism is materializing and Obama's candidacy for the American presidency is a result of that. For far too long, the true face of America was being ignored. America is a complex mixture of various cultures, religions and races, but the American leadership being overwhelmingly composed of "old White men" was alienating (most importantly, the Africans-Americans) all those Americans who didn't fit that image.

Now the question is whether America can move past racial walls and tear down the religious walls. Today, the word "Muslim" is deemed as an insult. God forbid you even hint that Obama had a Muslim heritage, lived in a Muslim country or has Muslim family members. You will be met with rebuke by--ironically--supporters of Obama.

I'm happy that America is the first nation to take a step in such a direction. So far as I know (and I'm not 100% on this), no other country has elected anyone not racially, ethnically or religiously representative of the majority . USA! USA! USA!

In recent sworn testimony before the House Armed Services committee, US Government officials were forced to confirm reports of a secret plan for an EMP attack involving Iran. If this attack is allowed to go forward it was revealed in that sworn testimony, tens of millions could die as a result. The American public needs to take a stand and force our government to take all necessary steps to stop such a secret planned attack. Read more about this secret plan which could cause tens of millions to lose their lives at http://www.harvybing.com
