For me, the political considerations were always at the forefront of China's reasons for the Games. I was just reading that because of IP provisions will not be allowed to show YouTube videos! Terrible! And also the thing with the industry, the daily lives of people, all of it paralized because of sports and the advertising industry plus media profits around the Olympics while you have to pay more taxes.
