i could hardly contain myself with anticipation when ethan informed us in budapest that it would take two weeks to make the official announcement about who the inaugural executive director was going to be. even then, i had no idea it would be somebody with such a solid, focused interest on issues pertaining, both directly and indirectly, to global peace. it’s great to have you amongst us ivan, especially in these times, as GV’s role takes on specific importance in what it can achieve globally.
