i heard all world leaders request ltte to putdown troops.bcoz they cont talk against one government.so ltte should stop war.bcoz all innocent people were killing by srilankan government.now ltte become weak.UNO entered inside srilanka.lets see what is possible.?.i want people to be live now.watch BBC world .Mr.obama is request ltte to surrender or put down troops.tamil is becoming low strength in world wide.we going to lose tamil with people and language.we can pray for innocent tamils in srilanka to be safe.

i feel sorrey for all you people out there, why should USA and CANADA butt in to a third world country??? when we have our own problems here… besides that everyone knows that people come here to have a better life, but end up collecting money for LTTE …. you cant come from tamil nadu and ask to divide srilanka…. sinhalese people were there first , that is why it has always been a sinhalese person running the government, and majority is sinhalese.. if you guys were there first then the first president of srilanka should have been a tamil president , in historey a tamil never run the government. i mean think about it u dont see sinhalese people trying to own a nother country???????? how can you guys try to own part of indian and srilanka?????

I hope the new president takes a more enlightened view than his predecessor of the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka by separating out the genuine grievances of discrimination and negelect of the Tamils from the actions of the LTTE, whose methods but not the motivating reasons should be deplored. It is not clear that a chauvanistic and jubilant GOSL can be influnced to act more humanely, but at least the US should not be a party to attrocities committeed under the guise of fighting the so-called ‘war on terror.’

The real truth is that Sri Lanka is a bankrupt country being led by agoverment bent on creating a monoethnic state. How many tamils and muslims constitute in the armed forces. Close to nothing. Its a state ready to collapse like Sudan and Zimbawe. Its time for a permanent seperation of the two countries to occur. Yes it was never one country.

The country is rife with cirrupt politicians who twice went on a murder ramapage not on the tamil but on their own sinhalese youth in the guise of a situation their misguided policies created in the first place. They went on to divert the attention of the sinhalese people to racist issues.

Many countries like Malaysia today are moving away from that mindset. Its brainwashed people like jayanatha who cannot keep religion (May the triple gem bless) is a religious cnotaction from their daily lives. Tamils are being butchered, is it because they do not have the financial strenght of the jews that the US is quite.
