You guys just cry without understanding the real truth. Army is protecting your people from LTTE, who are keeping them as a human shield. You want your own people suffer, don’t you? This always happened in your history. You guys kill your own people to come to power. you don’t let others to express their views. What did LTTE did to all other Tamil political parties?
Now the end has come to all of it. Innocent Tamils will be free from the hell in just one or two more months. Then they also can enjoy the freedom of life like all others who want it. Why don’t you guys go and share the difficulties your poeple have because of LTTE. You run away to have a good life and you guys want the poor innocent people to suffer. They alll can live anywhere in the country with us. Sri Lanka will be a united country forever with this victory.
May the triple gem bless all Sri Lankans, Sinahla, Tamil, Muslim, and all.
The real truth is that Sri Lanka is a bankrupt country being led by agoverment bent on creating a monoethnic state. How many tamils and muslims constitute in the armed forces. Close to nothing. Its a state ready to collapse like Sudan and Zimbawe. Its time for a permanent seperation of the two countries to occur. Yes it was never one country.
The country is rife with cirrupt politicians who twice went on a murder ramapage not on the tamil but on their own sinhalese youth in the guise of a situation their misguided policies created in the first place. They went on to divert the attention of the sinhalese people to racist issues.
Many countries like Malaysia today are moving away from that mindset. Its brainwashed people like jayanatha who cannot keep religion (May the triple gem bless) is a religious cnotaction from their daily lives. Tamils are being butchered, is it because they do not have the financial strenght of the jews that the US is quite.
Mr. Jayantha, who is protecting Thamils-is it your rulers-what a big joke? try to protect your people, expressing fearlessly their opinion on ruler`s misconduction, from being killed.

I hope the new president takes a more enlightened view than his predecessor of the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka by separating out the genuine grievances of discrimination and negelect of the Tamils from the actions of the LTTE, whose methods but not the motivating reasons should be deplored. It is not clear that a chauvanistic and jubilant GOSL can be influnced to act more humanely, but at least the US should not be a party to attrocities committeed under the guise of fighting the so-called ‘war on terror.’
