You are absolutely right, my apologies. The Persian weblog I originally used, man-o-shoma blog, and the website where the film footage is stored, consistently referred to him as Palizan, even Radio Farda’s text at one point typed his name as Palizar but it now seems Palizdar is the most common way of spelling his name in the reports including Amirkabir news website and you were correct.
