Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica the word is so sweet and yet we instead choose to spend this precious time on trivia. Our PM speech is his view and our are our own. Both view are just fine. When we come to realize this only then can we get on with the business of Creating and Country pleasing to the world at large and our citizenry.

A people not knowing (the consequences of) what they (think) say (and) do will live through them until they get the lessons intended. As a people Jamaica and the Caribbean Islanders have long perpetuated much by way of their less than loving tendencies towards each other. We have simply not been at our best in keeping our brothers. We will continue to reap the resulting dramas of this approach to life until we catch wind of its repetition in our corner of the world.

Soon the time will come for all hearts and hands to love, play and work together since out of many we are (all) one people, one place, for that matter one planet. It's happening already. Can you feel it? Catch the new wave friends. Reach upward for splendor and excellence in life and in love. It is getting better for all of us - even as you read this entry.

Of all the morally outrageous (and often permissible) behaviour that goes on in Jamaica every day, of all the other important topics like crime & economy that the Hardtalk participants broached, this is what gets everyone excited. Jamaica is struggling right now and it does not, never has and will never have *anything* to do with the gender pairings in couples.

To see people being so willfully stupid almost drives me to tears. Instead of establishing our sovereignty and national identity by ensuring that our history is taught in schools, by supporting our arts & culture sector, by developing our inner-city communities so we can loosen the gunman's grip, we're pumping up our chest about defying human rights group. All this while many of our most promising citizens are leaving as soon as they can to flourish in countries less homophobic.

There is a reason why so many people can't sleep peacefully at night in their houses and it has NOTHING to do with any homosexual duppy about to break in and do its worst.

Honestly.

Freedom of choice is to be respected. You are free to choose to be gay, Prime Minister Golding is free to say he does not want you in his Cabinet. The people of Jamaica are free to choose which prime minister they want.
Homosexuals are free to vote. There is no discrimination here. If the cabinet suddenly does not want the prime minister and they withdraw their support, he is gone. Why do people believe that we must all be forced to accept or conform to gay lifestyle, we have rights too.

Be gay if you want, but not in my house@!!!!!
