He writes about several aspects of Iranian culture and isn&#039;t afraid to make a bit of fun of himself. Apparently even an experienced traveler like Rick is clueless about cultural taboos in some parts of the world.

Thanks for pointing the way to Rick&#039;s blog, Hamid. I&#039;ve used his guidebooks in my overseas travel, but I didn&#039;t know he&#039;d started blogging.</description>
