I was curious as to what Aysha Khutan had written about May Day on Amader Kotha. Working unpaid overtime is still a major problem for workers just about everywhere in the world. I feel that, in most countries, the basic labor laws are in place, but that they are so rarely enforced. On a somewhat related note, Nari Jibon also put together a <a href="http://rising.globalvoicesonline.org/blog/2008/05/03/video-dhakas-slums/" rel="nofollow">really fantastic documentary</a> on the living conditions in one of Dhaka's slum neighborhoods.
