Guatemala is a name of Mayan roots as Guatemala is the principal center in which the Mayans developed their civilization, The real name is "Coatemalaj", Guatemala is just the Spanishized version of it.

I am also sick of the behavior of some Mexicans who apparently do not want to sink by themselves and instead of taking care of it's business and problems try to make them look better comparing themselves against another country even if it's all lies.

Guatemalans are taking consciousness about global warming issues and air pollution; in many cases taking actions such as raising awareness about them through ecological campaigns.

"Guatemala" is not a word of Mayan roots, in this case would be a sharp word, ie with emphasis on the last syllable.
In any case, it is assumed that its origin is Nahuatl as alongside the European conquistadors arrived a group from Mexico who served as guides and interpreters in the company conquering around the year 1500.
