For free trade's sake, I don't support boycott. We have to show SoKrazy the Schidzo that we are angry. To do that, we have to punish contracts with France. Carrefour is in China, so let's forgive them for now.

I' m a Chinese, although i speak bad English,i still want to express myself on Boycotting Carrefour ,I don't support to boycott the supermarket ,because i think there are many unfair things in China, such as no freedom of expression ,no freedom of dissident and corruption that Chinese should protest against. So all of people Who wanna boycott Carrefour are either blind and brainwashed or evil to make Chinese people forget about those unfair things around China.I agree with Miss. Jesse.
They had been washing our brain since we were in school.there are no one dare to tell the truth in China.

The foreignor always believe that it is stupid to boycott Carrefour because it just hurt Chinese themselves. But ,every one is clear that the people benefit the most is always French people, they get the lion's share from Carrefour.

And if you are interested in Chinese martial arts, you should know that there is one kind named Qi shang quan, which is powerful but would hurt self before hurt the enemies. Even Carrefour booycott is like Qishangquan and actually hurt our fellowman, then we are willing to do this at high cost just to make it known: you should not intervene our own business!

Pay your attention to your beggars and poor! Think how to make them happy! You do not know the situation of China and where our happiness are! Your focus of some separatists'satifaction does not show your humanity and the spirit of democracy.Give some coins to the roadside beggars, to the AIDs , the lunatics in your country, and that is where your kindness lies.

Do not ever think you are Savior to the weak and you are kind-hearted to all human being equally, which is the excuse for you-- human rights. if so, why 3000 trained policemen could not protect tbe little Chinese girl torchbearer? why you associate pure Olypmpic with dirty politics? You romantic France have lost your past bertiful image ,which was a country full of great writers and artists. Think before you say all stupid word!

I am a Chinese, and now i want to present certain slogans that are spread by QQ,MSN,Skype and whatever in China. They are popular and welcome. I am not sure how many people here could read Chinese, but these slogans have an English version for your reference.
今天是祖国最需要你的时候！
如果你在法国，三岁小孩也会在你身后大叫：“FREE TIBET!”

Its English Version:

Motherland Summons!

For your information:

In France little children are educated to exclaim: “FREE TIBET!”

The French president Mr. Sarkozy stated that rejecting Beijing-Olympics is an option,

The Mayor of Paris proclaimed that the Chinese are no more than whores in Africa,

The Olympic torches were extinguished four times by Frenchmen deliberately,

The Olympic rings were distorted into a manacle and printed on the map of China in France,

The Mayor of Paris hung the flag of Tibet separatists in the Municipal Hall and refused to meet the torch,

The romantic French threw garbage on the torch with taunts, jeers, and laughter.

The sacred Olympic torch received all along her journey in France savage faces,

The three thousand French policemen were not strong enough to protect a disabled Chinese girl torchbearer,
--------------------

After all the above facts, dear fellows, if you are still silent and indifferent, then tell me, are you still enjoying the blood of Yan and Huang?

Dear fellows, what should we do to maintain the dignity and the honor of our beloved country? Boycotting Carrefour, yes it is, it is one of the few things that we could and must do for our motherland! And can not we live without Carrefour? Even just for 12 hours in the New Year’s Day?

But dear peace-loving people in this global village, Carrefour boycott does not mean
that we Chinese are infighting with our fellowmen,
that we are curbing violence by violence,
and that we are disseminating hatred and nationalism,

instead it works as
a peaceful resistance to bias and prejudice,
a tolerant way to express the indignation of Chinese,
a strong declaration that we are red-blooded and brave,
and a cry to inform France of what we are thinking and feeling
-----We are angry!

We have been silent for such a long time that we almost lose our courage. But without the claim of the state’s dignity, dear fellows, where would you start a warm family?

Please convey this message to your family, friends and acquaintances!

Are you boycotting Chinese products? If so, please go to http://buyhard.net46.net, where you can register your 'non-purchases', i.e. details of goods you put back on the shelf when you realized they were made in China.

hello

I have read many of your comments and find equal levels of prejudice and frustration on both sides of this debate. By protesting against the Beijing government during the Torch relay, many Chinese people like their country and their pride has been hurt and because they dont understand the motives behind these protests they assume that it is a result of anti - chinese sentiment and jealousy of China's growing position in the world.

The Chinese have come from absolute poverty and serious oppression and have managed in a very short space of time (mainly through plain hard work and sacrifice) to make for themselves a financially more secure future. and this is something that deserves celebrating, something that many Chinese hoped would be celebrated with them when they host the Olympics in August.

However the worry for many people outside China is the lives of those in China who remain in poverty. The reality is that if you are Chinese and you are writing in English on this website about whether or not you are going to shop at Carrafour or buy French designer labels then your world is probably as equally removed from China's poor and marginalised as that of mine, or any other 'outsider'.

None of us can pretend to represent these people unless we have ourselves lived with them, eaten with them and shared with them in their lives. And the concern for these marginalised in the run up to the Olympics is real, the migrant workers and their children being sent back to their villages in large scale 'clean ups'. Dissenters being rounded up and imprisoned to avoid uncomfortable scenes during the game etc.

Finally, I dont know what happened with the lady in the wheelchair during the Paris Protests but i have seen with my own eyes large gangs of Chinese students in both South Korea and Japan geting frustrated with Korean and
Japanese protesters and actually beating them up, including one 30 something year old women in Nagano. If in our frustration at being misunderstood or misrepresented we resort to violence we end up losing respect not only for others and but also for ourselves.

The reality is that none of us in the East or the West can from a historical or cultural grounds take the moral high ground.　All of our nations have made mistakes, have fought unjust wars and killed innocent people.

祝你们奥运快乐！ I really do hope that the Olympics will be a success that it will give China more exposure to the outside world and will be a catalyst for change in the areas of China that has until now remained unhelped by the economic success of the east coast.

hello

I have read many of your comments and find equal levels of prejudice and frustration on both sides of this debate. By protesting against the Beijing government during the Torch relay, many Chinese people like their country and their pride has been hurt and because they dont understand the motives behind these protests they assume that it is a result of anti – chinese sentiment and jealousy of China’s growing position in the world.

The reality is that if you are Chinese and you are writing in English on this website about whether or not you are going to shop at Carrafour or buy French designer labels then your world is probably as equally removed from China’s poor and marginalised as that of mine, or any other ‘outsider’.

None of us can pretend to represent these people unless we have ourselves lived with them, eaten with them and shared with them in their lives. And the concern for these marginalised in the run up to the Olympics is real, the migrant workers and their children being sent back to their villages in large scale ‘clean ups’.
