I gott question for an Egyptian.

I recently referred to someone as black to an egyptian blogger friend of mine.

She thought I was being derogatory. I asked her what she would call a black person and she said. “We don’t discriminate”.

So my question is, if Wesley snipes came to visit you in Egypt and he got lost, how would you describe him to the police?

    Bob,
She is right in a way since we are taught over and over and over again NOT to discriminate. And that is a tough question .. for seriously I will really be too embarrassed to describe Wesley Snipes to the police as BLACK!

I do not believe that describing Wesley Snipes to the police as a black person is discrimination, as long as it is part of telling the police how he looks like.

Discrimination is if you deny someone her/his rights on the bases of his race or sex or religion … etc.

helping the police find Wesley Snipes, while he is lost in Cairo’s streets, by trying to draw a picture of how he looks like I believe this is doing him a favor
