Kenneth Tan from Shanghaiist confirmed the report that Bjork yelled for Tibet independence in her concert at Shanghai. Adam from Danwei translated bits of discussion at local discussion board.
Lawyer and blogger raymiyatake expresses his doubts [ja] over the election of Japanese diplomat Yukiya Amano as director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). First, he says, Amano was supported by only 23 nations out of 35. Second, he points out the difficult situation that the Agency is dealing with, at present, and the “unfairness” of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which should be applied also to the five members already recognized as possessing nuclear power. Lastly, he suggests that instead of promoting a “pacific use” of nuclear energy, this should be replaced with clean energy sources (such as the geothermal or the aeolian ones).

Three cheers for Bjork! Three cheers for speaking truth to power!
I am Australian and lived in Dharamsala for a year and have come and gone since then. I have many wonderfull Tibetan refugee friends. I could write a book on the imense suffering of these beautiful people. Escaping Tibet is only the beginning, sadly it gets even worse. Then they dont have the chance to go home without being put in prison or worse!

The world needs to speak out. Its the only way to help the Tibetan people. How can we just let it happen? Its a sad time when money and trade rule over truth and freedom, and torture of inocent people is allowed to happen. Well done to those who speak out. Well done Bjork my heart is with you.

The Tibet story has no difference than European’s arrival of North America, and what happened to the aboriginal thereafter.
When Bjork declare Tibet in her Shanghai Concert. Yeah, it is pretty good for her edgy image. But have this singer thought any consequence that might be caused to those who invited her to China? Has she thought anything about the feeling of her Chinese fans? I believe they are in support of a united Tibet with China.
Tibet is a complicated issue, behavior like Bjork did nothing to solve the whole situation. In retrospect, the only consequence might be that any singer with similar style will be more difficult to be invited to sing in China in the future. Of course, this is not the business of Bjork.
