Congratulations!! I have been so worried about all of you in Kenya. At my nursing program we have several Kenyans and many more Africans and we have all been waiting for good news to come from these talks.
We will pray that Kibaki and Odinga remain committed to returning Kenya to the peace, stability and beauty it so recently embodied. Bless you all. Colleen

The celebration in Kenya is deserved. Not many Kenyans, perhaps with the exception of those who planned and executed the electoral fraud, knew that their life would be so affected after the vote of December 27. The violence, destruction and misery that befell the country was unprecedented in scale and ethnic enmity.
Kofi Annan has helped Kenyans and the world overcome a potentially dangerous period for our nationhood. The challenge now remains for President Kibaki and Raila Odinga to implement the peace agreement expeditiously. This will be urgent especially given the arrangement is transitional as Kenyans organise a fresh round of elections.
Kenyans are the winners in this deal.
