I'm an ethnographer and a teacher. Unfortunately for me, I can't read Spanish (I'm a French-speaker). But it does seem important to have an open dialogue on diverse approaches to the OLPC project. Much of the texts I've read about the project seem unconscionably myopic and close-minded. "This project must happen, it's the only way to get children to survive..." I'm currently testing an OLPC XO and I must admit that I'm quite concerned by the rhetoric used to promote the project and by several aspects of the computer itself.
