After reading all of your posts, as someone that has lived through two wars, “oluja” in 1995 and nato bombing, during my teenage years, your ignorance or just lack of knowledge is surreal and agonizing to me. You are right, FACTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS, and there is a lot I can write but just consider this. In my hometown Benkovac which is situated in current Croatia there was 98% serbian population. We were given 12 hours to evacuate the town along with the whole Krajina region and mostly the elderly and everyone else that refused to leave ware “ethnically clensed” (to put it nicely). Who was there to stop this injustice? Ofcourse the US lead media cartel piched it differently. Don’t jump to quick to conclusions and read up or ask at places like this instead of being brainwashed.

Thats how all who really wont to partisipate on this issue with facts and historic arguments to tell the world that the Kosovars are on their land and serbs came as occupators.
I do not appriciate why the Historians of Kosova are not raising their voice for the truth.
If you see the argument of all serbs with lies and without concious they are trying to tell the International community that Kosova is the heart of serbia!!!!.
Again welldone BLUEROSE799, IMAGINE THAT SERBS WITH LIES ARE TRYING TO INTERPRET THE HISTORY AS THEY WISH,
WHERE ARE THE ALBANIANS???.

It’s about time to recognize the historical right of Kosova (Dardania) to have its destiny fulfilled-That is full independence. Kosova never was a Serbian province. It was there, since the times of birth of European civilization, a very distinct Dardanian/llyrian identity. Always populated by Dardanias who, although under constant pressure of forcefully migration by Serbian shovinism, Tito’s Yugoslavia & Milloshevic’s Serbia, still make up 92% of the population. They speak ilirian language with the dialect GEGE. Serbs always have been a minority there. We know that Serbs appeared in Balkans (then llyria) only by the 6th Century AD, and they speak a language more similar to Ukrainian then Russian. They have always been a minority and ‘the story’ of Kosova being the Heartland of Serbia is just a pure Serbian nationalist fantasy. Facts Speak Louder Than Words and Serbian’s Lies Will Collapse by Themselves. Serbs always have been considered as oppressors there, not just by Albanian majority, but also by other ethnic groups too. Serbs just occupied Kosova during the rise of the Serbian nationalism early 20th century from Ottomans, who by then were loosing the Balkans after 500 years of occupation. I can’t comprehend how a minority of 7% of the population, pretend to take off the land, the language, culture and the life of the rest of Kosova. Kosovars have the right to live free and independent in their land where they are born, generation after generation, live and will die.

Cro ~ I live here too and to be honest I wasn’t talking about the Albanian educational system but about the one I was exposed to, the American one, the one you seem to lack. Now instead of looking at bias articles written by Sllavic Nazis, please go back to a more general research and Google what was mentioned above. As far as civil rights, I do know, as I was born in the most perfect democratic society in the world. Now go back to my initial comment and re-read some of the main points as your response was not targeting the main point of my comment but rather a few supporting points of it. Of course you can not/would not be my friend. Again Kosovo is a country like it or not. You would understand what I am talking about since you know US business. Cheers

Well dear friends (including the ones that will curse at me), like it or not Kosovo is a country recogized by the same main powers that gave it to Serbia in 1913. You will find this fact in the library of Florence, in Vatican (i have been lucky to personaly read) and other reputable institutions that maintain solid facts about history. Just Google Illyrians, how old they are and look at their decestors. Now type Sllavs and look at the date they came down to the ballkans. As easy as that. You will, however, find the opposite in serbian schools, also somwhere in Seiberia and lately as part of the great Chinese educational system. The younger serbs need to open their eyes and look forward to becoming part of a civilized EU. There is no Rusia left to support your territorial claims. In 1999 Tnoy Blair said: “We are simply correcting a mistake/injustice that our ancestors did to the Albanian people”.. USA is not doing this to show muscle. It has no economical interest in Kosovo, however being the current superpower of our planet, it has the moral duty to control/supervise issues on earth. I heard serbia has initiated a international lawsuit against USA, UK, Germany and France. I read about it and I started thinking, who will be the judge? Than it immediately occured to me that probably an honest Russian or Chinese judge would do. After all they do know about civil rights, don’t they ;). Again my serbian friends (including the ones that will curse at me) its time to let go of the motherly anger, educate yourself with GLOBAL literature and live in peace. Aim at bocoming part of EU, forget about the Russian dying beast, and you will not be disappointed.

IF the majority of Worlds democratic states did have recognized the Kosovo as a Independent State,it doesn’t mean they are right.
Same applies to Kosovo’s Albanian majority.

I know what US democracy is like.
Believe me,first two syllables are just
a perfidious waste of space.Now I don’t mean disrespect
to all the nice people in US.I think you can be great and admired nation,but only thing US has now
is veneration(read dread).
But it’s not too late to redeem.
I mean disrespect to government and their president(s).

The man who is willing to sacrifice his own people for his own cause(9/11 in your case)doesn’t deserve respect.He deserves punishment.I will mention Milosevic and Clinton and Bush.
While Serbs were punished for the rotten politics of their former leader,civilians didn’t deserve to die.Bridges didn’t have to be nuked.Children don’t deserve to eat the Uranium.Chinese embassy didn’t have to go.And so on…This is NOT respect!
Does this mean that you would support the destruction of your people because Bush(Clinton) did the lousy job?

The freedom of speach and thoughts is fondamental in a democratic society, however thats take some time to understand for newly democratic society, where the shadow of repressions and restriction goes slowly away.

I think that rather than arguing who are serbs and who are kosovars, look at the reality, the majority of Worlds democratic states have recognised the kosova as a Independent State.
We in the U S respect others, its a debate where we all expose our thoughts.
