Bob,没错，我的家在东北。对于大风大雪早已熟视无睹，只是从网上才了解到有关情形。
另：建议，以后皇上大臣南下北上巡游的图片少贴一些，尤其在这篇文章中，碍眼。

@Jack
是同胞吗？
在雨雪灾难的那几天中我这地方也是阴雨不断，中间有一天终于放晴，那阳光实在是太让人迷恋了，第一次感觉那是这么的宝贵。

Sorry for the tornado in your country. Alas, what is happening in this world?

In the snowstorm this time, the southern part of China suffered the most, where never expected to be pounded, and has rarely been hit by such a freezing weather. Therefore many people say it feels like "The day after tommorrow".

But indeed, the official death toll(under 90), though not 100% believable,is relately low. I should really feel grateful.

Thank you for your concern. The snowstorm this time indeed costed us a lot. And as the strom is letting up, the aftermath---rising price, refugees relief and restoration of power---will surface. But it's understandable that every country has its own business to worry about.
Actually, I think if the storm had not stirred China, the U.S election would have occupied our media as well.

[...] Bob Fu’s disturbing post on Global Voices shows just how much worse has been the experience of thousands of ordinary Chinese people in this year’s festive melee: We set out on 27th. There were about 2 times as many passengers as allowed (very usual as most passengers buy stand tickets to save money. —translator). In the evening we arrived in Hunan and the progress was punctuated by stoppages, some of which lasted 4 to 5 hours. The whole Hunan was covered by the ice, like a huge sugar-glazed-haw (a kind of snack). The sleet, chilly and thick, kept falling. The carriages were crowded. We tried not to drink much because to go the toilet we had spend 10 minutes to hustle through people…… There were as if people under the feet, and people above the head. [...]
