In an article Melquisedec says that he will go to a police station today (feb 07) to talk about his blog and his actions. He believes that he will be arrested for a long time and plans to write a book in prison about the things he saw in his twenty years as a police cop.

Hi, Simon

Thanks for your comments. I'm planning to investigate the matter further and write a longer piece later this week. The blogger has not been arrested yet and are constantly updating his blog. This may be due to the criticism that the piece attracted both on the blogosphere and mainstream media in Brazil (a few papers brought the issue up). It was only Saturday that his arrest has been ordered too by the governor, according to him. I can't find anything in English either, but Le Figaro was quick:

Hi Paula, thanks for the information! But there seems to be absolutely no English language source on the case - could you provide something more detailed and up-to-date about this? As it seems, the blogger has not been arrested yet - is the police still ordered to take him in custody?
