Prasanna’s Travels in a Militarized Society Part I &II reflect sincerity, relevance and narrates the feeling of helplessness among the citizenry especially the breadwinners and the civic conscious people. Well, the racial fanaticism of the extremist elements on both side of the divide believes in establishing the hegemony over the other. Political fanaticism, religious fundamentalism and weapons of mass destruction had become the answer to domination and subjugation of the polity. This brutal world exists as common sense is no longer common and is totally absent among rulers. It is no exaggeration to state what the ruler(s) want is to cling to power and perks. Hang the commoner, they are avoidable nuisance!! As GOSL is not under “serious” pressure from any quarter the carnival of fanaticism will go on.
