The European elections will be the first in a series of 5 electoral processes in Romania in less than 2 full years. So they will be seen as an indicator of the political strength of all the parties. On the other hand, if more than 50% plus one of the Romanian voters say yes to the proposal for electoral reform […] Romania may move from a closed list proportional system to a majority based uninominal system to elect its representatives to Parliament, which would be a huge change…”
