So Greg Palast considers bombings during two invasions, years of sanctions, and the use of depleted uranium and chemical weapons, jailing thousands without justification, and using agent provocateurs to fuel the violence “babysitting?”
Since he think Muslims lives are worthless, what about if he at least acknowledges the 3 to 5 million Buddhists killed when the Untied States bombed Vietnam and Cambodia? I am sure he’ll find some excuse and claim that isn’t a real genocide?
Why don’t the United States and Europe set the example by acknowledging their genocides? What does he think Europeans (with the help of Americans) were doing in their former colonies in the early 1900s? See http://www.brushtail.com.au/july_04_on/bombing_arabs_history.html
I have a feeling that more information will be coming out about the atrocities committed against former European colonies.
After years of discussing this issue on blogs and in newspaper letters to editors I took a pause this week. It is interesting still that now that the Turks have punked George Bush and the American Congress into submission over the Armenian Genocide Resolution, then requested and apparently obtained American help in their next genocide now against the Kurds. The tide may be turning. Now that the entire world (save the US, Turkey, and the Azeris) has accepted the genocide as fact and even some in Turkey are pushing to undo Article 301. When this happens, and it will, the good people of Turkey will be allowed to speak the truth they know without being jailed or killed and juctice will be served. Just watch how fast the American President and Congresspeople come rushing back to the Armenians with their hands out. “We were with you all the time”. Backstabbers. This blog asks we treat others with respect? Not for George. I voted for that idiot twice. How about we respect the 2 million members of my family as their bodies still blow in the wind in Turkey?
