I thought that the Neo-Angono Artists Collective were tasked to make a mural about the past up to the present state of the press in the Philippines. It seems that the botched mural is representative only of the present state of the press. Censored and controlled, though the censorship occurs in such a way that only when you read through the lines do you see the mutilation.

I thought the bird monster in a cage was pretty cool. 900,000 pesos was way too much to pay for such a droll caricature anyway. That avian touch definitely livened it up a bit. Maybe they'll plaster menus on it at strategic places too. That'll be an even bigger improvement.
