Democracy is great and gives us freedom but many use this freedom to take freedom away from others. The U.S. and Oligarchs want to rip Russia up and suck it dry and Putin knows this. Putin is vigilant against some tenents of globalisation. Russia is a sovereign nation and the West should fix up their own problems before lecturing others. Look at democracy is the States and America's decline..The U.S. needs $2 billion of offshore funds just to keep Uncle Sam going, manufacturing has gone, multi-culturalism has destroyed the country and big business screws the middle class. The U.S. Govt. and Senators are supposed to stick up and protect America but Uncle Sam has become weak due to globalisation, American politicians need to be shot, they are useless. Good on the Russkis being tough against foreigners and protecting their own, maybe us fools in the West could stop our decline and do the same? In in casual English which he uses we use literary devices like using a word to represent a different thought. Here, DNA, cloning, stem cell research, etc. are matters of active public discussion. I read his remark to mean that a particular way of life or philosophy is so deeply embedded that the society can not really consider something different. Not DNA ladies and gentlemen, just a thought process or cultural process, something like that. Remember the source. It goes back to the 90's. They'd send some nurses to take samples while the victim was incapacitated. They really do this kind of thing and it's better blackmail than sex.
