I have had a sense of goodness from your blogs Maryanne. You are one of those people that can reach out to the world with your words. Words that sink in and take root. Thank you for that. Your honesty, your integrity and most of all your heart – is what is awe inspiring. The strength and committment that you have endured and displayed spurs my soul to be the best I can be. Thank you for that as well.

Dear Maryanne, I read your blog with great interest. I lived in Egypt on and off since I was a child.At one point I owned 10 camels and with them crossed the Western Desert from Siwa to the Nile Valley. FOr a while my family lived in Maadi (my sister and brother went to school there) and I lived in Zamalek and Sidi Kreir.
I have launched a website that in part is an archive of women who have contributed to world knowledge through exploration. I would love your imput. We are just beginning have not begun to enter all the data. I am looking for Egyptian women to enter. I would appreciate your suggestions.
