Both Zarchka and Onnik Krikorian originally expected to see exciting basketball games when they went to see the matches Glendale-Istanbul and Yerevan-Cairo respectively: But unfortunately, both games, which are part of the 4th Pan-Armenian Games, were the scene of fist fights between the opposing teams, casting a negative shadow on a sports event that is actually supposed to bring together Armenians from around the world in peace.

I am from Istanbul, Turkey (not Armenian though).
Calling Istanbul Armenians
…dirty Turkish dogs
…half Armenians
…not knowing anything ’cause they’re from Turkey
is offensive to both Turks and Armenians in Turkey.
They are…
…not dirty Turkish dogs, but hardworking Turkish citizens
…not half Armenians, but from a full and ancient Armenian heritage
…not ignorant, in fact, highly educated in arts and sciences.
Armenians elsewhere! Please drop this negative attitude for everything from Turkey.
And think about the fact that a Muslim Turk is defending a Christian Armenian just because of childish chauvinism.
Enough said.
Take care.
