The president most likely is not going to sign the Media Bill.It is also true most politicians will behave the same once they are in power.
Disclosing the source of the information is fine to the Editors but not to be published as that will endanger live.

The retrenched workers in Kenya have been discriminated economically and socially. They are over 700,000 and with the dependence rate of 10 that makes over 7,000,000 people are poorer and without a job.The organization fighting for the rights or retrechees in Kenya ,the National Network of Retrenchees for Social And Economic Justice need support to effectively articulate the needs of the retrenched workers. We need funds to take cases to court,we need funds to educate retrenched workers in ICT to be able to reclaim their "lost face" by rejoining the labour market again. The children are dropping out of school ,colleges since their parents cant afford to sponsor them.NNR need to be assisted by the NGOs and Government agencies to help establish a fund for retrenchees to do business, scholarships for the children too.
The WORLD BANK/IMF were behind the staff reform in Kenya A and failed to compensate retrenched staff. We need computers for training, volunteers, and other technical assistance to strengthen the movement. If there are friends who can participate in helping NNR organization ,please contact nnsejk@yahoo.com .
