A Somali filmmaker is looking for Somali actors and actresses for a Somali-American film: “We are shooting a new Somali-American film with multiple themes and story lines that run parallel to each other.This is a no-budget/low-budget kind of movie. This movie will be shot in St. Paul/Minneapolis area. If you live out of state, you whole trip, food and lodging is covered. The exposure to the local film community would be more fulfilling and priceless for a career in movies.”

African americans can act out anything u get me but us malies wer muslim so da actin is limited. Before, I make any comment about your proposal, of desiring to meet with young Somalis who could shoot or act in short (unsophisticateted) film, I would like to ask you,do you want individuals as voluntter based that you will compensate what you could offer them, or you have a deal as film director? Second, I like in MN and almost finished AA degree in film and Media production and want to continue my education furhter. therefore, I also intersting to find a motivated African guy who we could work together to make small movies.
